The Difference Between Dry, Oily and Neutral Release Agents

When there are difficulties in mold release, we will apply mold release agent to increase the release effect, there are various kinds of mold release agents on the market, so how to choose a suitable release agent?

release agent

1. Dry release agent

The oil film is extremely thin, no corner residue point, good characteristics, the surface of the product is dry and oil-free after molding.

Suitable for PIASTICS, ABS, PVC, PP, PE and other large plastic products to release the mold during injection molding, without affecting the secondary processing such as screen printing, electroplating, hot stamping, oil spraying, pasting, etc. It is suitable for toys, household appliances, plastic, rubber, glass, metal products for general demolding purposes.

2. Neutral release agent

Selected from a variety of high-quality raw materials and compound additives modulation, with lubrication mold, anti-corrosion and anti-rust function, more times of mold release, does not pollute the surface of finished products, does not affect the secondary processing.

Suitable for oil and non-oil products between the use, especially for precision products transparent type products molding mold release, such as oil spray, screen printing, electroplating, hot stamping, etc.

3. Oily release agent

Choose the raw material modulation of high bearing, extreme pressure resistance, high anti-wear compound, the finished surface finish is good, not greasy. With good effect, more times of demoulding, anti-embroidery, lubrication, no damage to the mold and increase the surface finish of plastic as well as wool spinning lubrication, convenient and durable.

Applicable to all kinds of plastic, silicone rubber, glass, metal industrial products production demoulding, such as ABS, SAN, PP, POM, PC, PA, PE, HIPS, PVC, GPP, etc.
